ANGEL CABRERA FOUNDATION PROMISED TO BUILD A HEALTH CENTER IN MENDIOLAZA
“Pato’s” Foundation will donate funds for the construction of the center. Mendiolaza Town Council will provide the land and provincial government will provide the medical equipment.
“I was born in Mendiolaza and I lived there until I was 18. That is why I like to help people in that city as much as I can", explained Cabrera in a short ceremony where he promised to donate economic funds to build a Health Center.
On Friday, 22nd Pato signed an agreement together with Mendiolaza Mayor Daniel Salibi and Cordoba Secretary of Health, Dr. Oscar Félix Gonzalez, by which parties promised to join forces to build a Primary Health Care Center in Talar neighborhood, in Mendiolaza.
Mendiolaza Town Council will provide the land where the Health Center is going to be built, provincial Government will provide medical equipment and the Foundation will donate a total of AR$ 246,250 for the construction of 197 meters of roofed area.
This is not the first time Cabrera collaborates with the community. He has also helped with the Sports Center remodeling, equipment for a primary school dining hall and the Cultural Center refurbishment, among other things.
Salibi declared: “I have known “Pato” for a long time. We went to primary school together. After that each of us took our own way and now I am really happy we can work together. Although Cabrera does not say it, I know he does everything because he really feels it.”
